On this day in 2008 Frank Maestri died at the age 89. He was a successful California businessman, and a prominent soldier and bookmaker in the San Jose crime family, reporting to the boss Joseph Cerrito. The San Jose crime family was a small and fairly quiet family that included more business orientated members rather than your usual mobster stereotypes. Something that fitted well with Maestri.
