On this day‬ in 1977 John Nardi, a Cleveland Crime Family associate was killed at the age of 61 from a planted car bomb. The force of the bomb blew both of Nardi’s legs off. As he was being pulled away from the car he said “It didn’t hurt”, and died a few minutes later.
